Sandra Bell has owned and operated Whistle Stop Dance Company since August, 1976. Empowering young women by teaching dance in an effort to maximize their own achievements has been a driving force behind Sandra’s philosophy. Teaching young girls, influenced by positive reinforcement, praise, and a sense of self-worth is important. More...Stephanie Berry, daughter of Sandra Bell started dancing at the age of 2 1/2. She has taken classes through out her years at the studio from choreographers and teachers from all over the U.S. She began dancing professionally in Dallas at the age of sixteen and was an officer of the Berkner High School Drill Team.More...Heather Brown started dancing at Whistle Stop Dance Company at the age of 3 in 1987 and performed as a ‘Superstar’ in her first recital, Broadway Beat (1988). She continued her training at Whistle Stop through high school, and began teaching at Whistle Stop in 2003. More...Dee Dick has been clogging since 1985, when she begged an instructor to include her in a class that had already completed 4 out of 8 scheduled lessons. The instructor agreed to let her try, and 6 weeks later she was a member of an exhibition team. More...Taylor Berry, granddaughter of Sandra Bell and daughter of Stephanie Berry, has been dancing at Whistle Stop Dance Company since age 3. She is currently a Bekner Bandolera officer, and has been a Bandolera since her sophmore year.More... |
